FAQS

Whats the due date?

The deadline for publication in volume II of the Child & Adolescent work is August 01, 2018.

The Handbook of Experiential Counseling is closed for submissions.

Is there a word count or page limit?

Nope! We want your work to be authentic if you feel 2500 words will cover your topic fully then go for it! During the peer review process, we may ask for you to elaborate or condense some of the content but there is no formal page/word requirement.

Do all chapters get accepted?

All publications are peer reviewed. We cannot guarantee your work will be published. Authors will be notified as soon as possible if their submissions are accepted.

Is this topic taken?

We are going to publish multiple chapters on each topic so please submit up to 4 different chapters for any topic.

My chapters was accepted! Now what?

Congratulations! Now in order to make sure that your chapter is published please be sure to follow up with edits as soon as possible. If second draft manuscripts are not returned by the due date they will not be accepted for the final publication.

My chapter was not accepted, now what?

If your chapter was not chosen for publication within one of the projects then we encourage you to review the comments from the editors as well as the requirements for the book. Book chapters fill up quickly so it is always possible that multiple people have submitted chapters for the same project. We encourage you to continue sending in submissions for other projects!
